Edinburgh Napier University is hosting a public engagement event to hear the views of young people with learning disabilities on the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine.

Aims of the event

An interactive and accessible event bringing together research participants, members of the public, practitioners and policymakers.

The event will include:

•              Presentation of study findings 
•              Table-top discussions
•              Exploration of findings and solutions offered by the research participants

Topics covered: how to engage young people in the HPV vaccination programme; how to raise  awareness of HPV and the HPV vaccination across Scotland; and training/education issues for staff and communities.
