Our innovative courses focus on applied aspects of computing, designing and implementing systems. Courses are designed to meet industry needs and range from the more general BEng Computing to the BSc Games Development and the British Computer Society accredited BEng Computer Security and Forensics.
Most Computing courses include the option to do a year-long work placement.
We take in students from all backgrounds, from high school leavers to those with college qualifications, including direct entry courses where an appropriate HN can allow you to join the second or even third year.
We know that in years to come you will be working with technologies that didn't exist when you were at university, so it is important to us to make sure that we prepare you for the ever changing world of computing.
Our courses are very practical and give you the necessary skills to join dynamic, hard working IT teams. You can study anything from one module right up to a full MSc, full or part time. Campus-based courses include MSc Business Information Technology and MSc Web Development. There are several work based Masters degrees available, including MSc Strategic ICT Leadership, and MSc Advanced Security and Cybercrime. MSc Sound Design and MSc Advanced Security and Digital Forensics can be studied via distance learning.
