Liz Adamson is an Associate Professor within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Care at Edinburgh Napier University. Before joining the University she worked within healthcare as a nurse, midwife and latterly as an educator teaching clinical skills and safe use of medical devices within NHS Lothian.
In her current role she leads the Medical Technology Project and is the lead academic for student experience within the School of Nursing Midwifery and Social Care.
Liz is committed to enhancing nursing, health care and the patient experience through research and development of technology. Her research interest are compassionate care and enabling patient self-management.
