Edinburgh Napier University is investing £100m in an estate strategy to provide students and staff with some of the very best teaching and learning facilities in Scotland.
Following the success of the 2004 redevelopment of our Craiglockhart Campus - home to the Business School - the University has undertaken an extensive programme of improvements to our Sighthill Campus.
The £60m campus, opened in January 2011, is home to the Faculty of Health, Life & Social Sciences and some professional service departments, providing a sustainable state-of-the-art building with premier teaching and learning facilities.
This investment is not just in the future of the University but will also add to the regeneration of Sighthill. The construction programme alone supported in the region of 100 full-time jobs. More than 5,000 students and staff are based there, bringing with them a beneficial economic effect to the surrounding area.
Enabling work has also started on our Merchiston Campus, ahead of the main building developments starting in January 2012.
