Construction and Refurbishment   

Environmental risk assessments are considered for all building works at Edinburgh Napier.  Contractors used by the University are also asked to supply environmental statements and/or their environmental policy. 

Sustainable construction and refurbishment is embedded into the Estates Strategy of Property & Facilities.  The University is also participating in the WRAP Halving Waste to Landfill initiative.

The development of the Sighthill Campus is the largest construction and refurbishment job being undertaken at the moment.  The campus is aiming for BREEAM Excellent and includes environmental features within the design.
