Energy Saving Week 

Help at home from the Energy Saving Trust

Energy Saving Week is an annual event held at the end of October each year, hosted by the Energy Saving Trust (EST). During the week, the Trust aim to help people across the UK reduce energy wastage. Each weekday, throughout the week, has a mini-theme with information ranging from generating your own electricity, installing better insulation, investigating the use of energy saving products and saving fuel through more efficient means of transport.

If you need any advice on how you can save energy in your home, visit the EST website, email your local EST advice centre, based in Edinburgh, or call 0800 512 012. You can also complete a short online questionnaire to check your home for potential savings. You will instantly receive a free tailored Home Energy Report illustrating how efficient your home is. The Report will also highlight any improvements you can make to reduce your carbon footprint along with your energy bills.  The EST website also contains information on grants and discounts available and information on home energy generation.
