About Edinburgh Napier for Applicants
Edinburgh Napier University is a leading, modern university committed to the highest standards of excellence in teaching, learning, research and knowledge transfer.
We intend to develop in individuals, organisations and communities the skills and knowledge that will empower them and enable them to succeed.
We are one of the largest higher education institutions in Scotland with over 17,000 students, including nearly 5,000 international students, from more than 100 nations worldwide.
We are leaders in widening access to higher education both at home and abroad. Many of our students are the first generation of their families to study at university and our strategy of developing international partnerships and internationalising our curriculum has enabled us to deliver our courses to students studying in their own country particularly in Hong Kong and India.

They are designed to respond to the needs of employers and to develop the confidence in our graduates that will enable them to adapt to changing circumstances throughout their careers.
We know that our education provision and research is directly relevant to our graduates; enabling them to secure and prosper in employment.
