You will assist in the provision of mailroom/ stores services throughout the University. The main duties are sorting incoming/ outgoing external mail, franking and preparation of mail for despatch, delivering and collecting mail, parcels/ goods, and other items throughout the University. You will also be responsible for the administration of relative goods received/despatched documentation, stock records, arranging couriers and providing at all times best advice on mailroom/ stores services to our customers.
Contracted hours for this post are 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 7pm (flexible to cater for requirements) with occasional overtime/ weekend work as necessary. Due to the nature of the position, medical and security (Disclosure Scotland) clearance will be required and possession of a current driving licence is essential.
