The Centre for Timber Engineering (CTE) is a key research and knowledge transfer centre within Edinburgh Napier University. The Centre Administrator will support senior staff with budget control and act as co-ordinator for all financial transactions; with responsibilities from processing payments & invoices, through to monitoring of both individual project budgets & overall CTE finances. Provide a full administrative service, together with responsibilities related to website upkeep, event management and newsletter preparation.
You must posses a HNC/HND in a relevant administrative subject or have extensive and relevant experience in a busy financial/office environment. Project management skills, ability to carry out financial transactions & reporting, and well developed IT skills (particularly in relation to spreadsheets, databases and Dreamweaver) are essential, together with abilities in event organisation Prior experience of working within Further/Higher Education administration is desirable.
