You will contribute to the efficient running of the EDTC Technology Gateway in Livingston. The unit provides technology and process knowledge and consultancy services to industry and actively promotes and facilitates projects between higher education and industry. The main focus of this post will be supporting the Administration Manager and Technology Advisors in delivering services to the Clients, the University and funding bodies through delivery of excellent administrative services.
You will provide administrative support to the Administration Manager and the EDTC Team, acting as a first point of contact for the Centre, dealing with general office duties, processing customer data, and assisting in the organisation and co-ordination of external seminars and events.
You will have exceptional organisation, communication and IT skills. Experience of working in a customer focussed environment would be beneficial. You should be educated to Standard or Ordinary Grade or have extensive relevant work experience.
This post is fixed term initially for 12 months with a view to this being extended for a further 12 months.
