The East of Scotland Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Centre is located at Napier’s Craighouse Campus and is hosted on behalf of Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt, Napier, Queen Margaret, St. Andrews and Stirling Universities. It serves as a depository of KTP-specific information and is a critical interface between members and external industry and business.
Following recent restructuring, an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a new East of Scotland KTP Centre Administrator. Working with Centre staff the new role is to provide administrative support in relation to the promotion, processing and monitoring of KTP programmes. The role is central to the service provision to member universities and will feature wide and varied contact with member universities and with companies in many different market sectors.
Main duties will involve being first point of contact for enquiries, providing assistance with, promotional initiatives, contributing to the preparation of material for monthly financial and activity reports and to the annual operating plan and maintaining the Centre website. In addition, the role involves providing administrative support to project meetings which usually take place at the premises of partner companies.
You will need a full valid UK driving license and access to transport as travel between campuses is essential. Attendance at Local Management Committees will involve regular travel to companies throughout central Scotland and occasionally throughout UK.
