The is a part time and fixed term post for one year
Hours of Working: this part time 0.5 FTE post amounts to 20 hours per week involving attendance within the Institute for 4 hours each day Monday to Friday. Actual hours within each day are negotiable.
This post in the Business School requires you to take responsibility for providing effective administrative and secretarial support for a range of staff associated with the Faculty’s Edinburgh Institute of Leadership and Management Practice.
You should be educated to HND level or equivalent and have prior administrative experience, preferably in further or higher education. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills together with the ability to work on your own initiative, under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Experience of IT, especially spreadsheets and databases, is essential and some financial monitoring and committee servicing experience would be an advantage.
