The Melrose Library serves the staff of NHS Borders as well as the staff and students of Edinburgh Napier University, therefore an interest in, or knowledge of, health information would be helpful.
You will work in a small busy team and be involved in a wide range of activities, contributing to many aspects of the Library’s work. Given the size of the Library and the team, you should be confident and knowledgeable enough to work alone when required.
Essential requirements include:
Educated to SCE”H” grade or equivalent OR appropriate relevant experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work.
A paraprofessional qualification in Librarianship would be advantageous as would experience of work within a Library.

Tuesday 13.00 – 21.00
Wednesday 17.00 – 21.00
Thursday 09.00 – 13.00
