You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both inhouse and contracted maintenance staff to deliver effective, efficient and economical property maintenance and minor works for the benefit of the University. The purpose of the role is to maximise the efficiency and quality of the property maintenance service at all campuses by making the most efficient use of resources available.
You will preferably hold a HNC qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or an appropriate technical discipline and be able to demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills, have an extensive track record in property maintenance, maintenance staff management, use of maintenance software systems and evidence of delivering a customer focused service.
