Conference and Lettings is responsible for generating income for the University by marketing, selling and co-ordinating the use of the University’s facilities to external organisations and groups.
You will take a lead role in developing strategies for increasing external and internal business within the accommodation, conference and catering departments, in line with projected income targets. You will also have particular responsibility for the occupancy and sales of residential accommodation during the summer vacation, covering the whole range of duties including client liaison for both individual bookings and group business.
You will possess a degree, HND or equivalent qualification within a relevant discipline combined with relevant marketing and sales experience, preferably within the higher education sector or the events / tourism industry. You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of web development and optimisation.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to developing policies and procedures to ensure maximum income generation.
