You will work on a short research project looking at ways of enhancing the quality of academic feedback to students in the School of Life Sciences. In particular you will help with the collection and typing of examples of previous assessment, the evaluation of how students use feedback, finding and reviewing relevant literature on this topic and measuring staff and student attitudes to feedback.
You will have good skills in typing/word processing, communication and administration, experience of higher education and of research methods (either quantitative or qualitative) would be an advantage.
You will be well motivated and organised with the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be a good communicator with the ability to effectively organise, co-ordinate and prioritise work activities.
You will be based at Edinburgh Napier University, Merchiston campus, but could also do some work from home.
