Job Summary:

On a job share basis (two and a half days a week), you will be based at our Merchiston Campus, but on occasions work at other campuses.

You will provide a range of key administrative support within our admissions team. This team deals with over 18,000 applications each year, providing a central decision making service and responding to applicant enquiries. With experience of data processing and administration, preferably within Higher or Further Education, you should have good communications skills, an attention to detail and demonstrate a positive approach to customer focus. You will also have good word and excel skills, a minimum of an HNC or 3 Higher Grades, and be proficient with data entry. You must be able to work to strict deadlines within a busy office environment.  Occasional evening and weekend working is required to support peak periods throughout the year.
