Assisting in the provision of security services for all the University’s campuses on a 24/7 basis, you will work on a seven day rotational shift basis, averaging 42 hours per week. Duties will include foot/ mobile patrols, opening/locking of premises, operational control of University car parking, security of all University premises, equipment and vehicles and generally implementing University security regulations to ensure a safe, secure environment.
Ideally, you will have extensive relevant experience in a security environment or within HM Forces with a good working knowledge of fire/security systems, security equipment, CCTV systems and be competent in use of a computer for preparation of reports, email communication etc.

A current first aid qualification is also required although training for this will be arranged where necessary.
