Student Accommodation Officer

£27,466 - £32,796, pa

You will manage a portfolio of city centre self-catered student flats and be responsible for the management, monitoring and control of the flats, liaising with colleagues in respect of maintenance, health and safety, security and cleaning.  Duties will also include responsibility for managing the student tenants and tenancy issues, managing voids and arrears.

In addition, you will take lead responsibility for reviewing and improving certain tenancy and property processes within the office and also within the flat developments and applying and monitoring their implementation throughout all the flat developments managed by Student Accommodation. 

The ability to multi task, to deal with students and colleagues at all levels and in difficult situations, and to provide advice and information on a wide range of topics are essential.  You must have good use of written and spoken English and be an experienced Microsoft user (Word/Excel/Access).  Accuracy, attention to detail and a customer focussed approach are essential.  Experience in a student accommodation environment or experience of managing properties is desirable.
