Hong Kong Alumni Association celebrates its Crystal Anniversary

The Hong Kong Alumni Association celebrated its crystal anniversary at a wonderful drinks reception and gala dinner at the Hong Kong Football Club on Saturday 17 January 2009.
The Hong Kong Alumni Association was established by Professor Stephen Ho, Life President, in 1994 and he continues to support the development of the Association as it goes from strength to strength. The number of alumni in Hong Kong now exceeds 3,000.
The Association was delighted to have Professor Joan K. Stringer CBE, Principal and Vice Chancellor, as the guest of honour at the dinner. As well as celebrating the Association’s anniversary, Professor Stringer presented Alumni Ambassador certificates to nine alumni to mark the launch of the Alumni Ambassador initiative. Professor Stringer also shared recent developments at Napier, including the design and launch of the new Napier University tartan, which was showcased by staff from Edinburgh.
It was a very enjoyable and successful evening - Ms Mavis Ho, a 2005 alumna said:
"I am thrilled with the high turn-out rate. I wish both the alumni and the University every success in years to come!"
