Confident Futures
“A degree is no longer a meal ticket to your future but simply a licence to hunt’
Lindsey Perry, Railtrack
Edinburgh Napier University recognises that students need more than just a good degree to achieve success in the workplace. The pioneering Confident Futures personal development programme has been designed to help students develop well-founded confidence and the sort of soft skills and attitudes demanded by today’s employers.
The Confident Futures team run a variety of events for students and staff members alike, including interactive workshops and lectures. Undergraduate workshops are based around different Development Themes - Self Awareness, Empowering Attitudes and Building Relationships. Postgraduate programmes covers Goal-setting, Defending Ideas and Networking.
