The Student Grant Initiative provides one-off contributions to support students who wish to undertake projects that will either enhance their studies at Edinburgh Napier, or support excellence in sport or the creative arts. The grants are designed to support students financially with projects that they would not otherwise have the opportunity to undertake.
Priority is given to students who are undertaking exceptional projects that they have proactively organised, rather than students undertaking core University placements.
A huge number of exciting and innovative projects have been undertaken, ranging across a number of different areas - from photography to engineering to nursing, and from Edinburgh to the far side of the world.
The Student Grant initiative is funded entirely through the generous donations received from alumni, friends and supporters of the University. Every donation received makes a real difference and impacts greatly on our students.

Apply for a grant
Applications for awards of up to £1,000 per project are now invited from full-time students in second year or above, or from postgraduate students who have progressed straight from an undergraduate course at Edinburgh Napier.
There are two application rounds each year - unfortunately applications cannot be considered outside of these time frames.
The next deadline for submitting completed application forms is Friday 24 February 2012.
Applications will be accepted from Wednesday 1 February 2012.
