It is here that Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon met and wrote some of their most memorable poetry.Open to members of the public, the University’s War Poets Collection is a valuable archive of literature and memorabilia documenting a crucial period in world history.

At the same time, the War Poets Acquisition fund was launched to allow visitors and supporters to contribute towards extending the Collection and ensuring its ongoing conservation.
