What Can I Study?
At The Business School, we believe that our job is to prepare you to cope with the challenges of doing business in the twenty-first century. That means that we work hard to keep our programmes up-to-date, and to introduce new programmes as the economic environment around us changes.
So, for example, our School of Marketing,Tourism and Languages has recently established a Centre for Festival and Events Management, to reflect the fact that Edinburgh and Scotland are major tourist destinations and the host of numerous international festivals each year. Our MSc International Event & Festival Management is a prime example of how we are providing the educational underpinning to support a major aspect of the local economy.
You will find these kinds of professional links in whatever subject area you choose to study. It is down to our commitment to working directly with industry. You may be taught by experts from the financial and banking sectors, or from one of Scotland’s leading law practices, depending on the programme you chose.
With over 80 degree programmes to choose from, we’d like to think that we offer something for everyone. All our courses are designed to provide you with the expertise you need for the career path you choose – or to continue your education further, if you wish.
