The Lifelong Learning Department at Edinburgh Napier University plays a fundamental role in the delivery of the University's key objectives, aiming to extend the University's reach and impact to the less 'traditional' learner. We work with and for individuals, businesses, communities and the rest of the University, tailoring our services to your specific needs and ensuring that barriers to learning are overcome.

In partnership with a number of external organisations, we create and manage a variety of innovative projects designed to meet the needs of our customers. Through knowledge exchange and research, new ideas and concepts developed through successful project partnerships can then be integrated into the work of the Unversity as a whole. Our of our principle aims, as set out by the Scottish Executive, are to increase the number of students in Higher Education from disadvantaged areas and to deliver a range of programmes to improve Scotland's skill base and meet the needs of the Scottish economy.
