Engage Edinburgh Napier Students

There are many different ways that you can engage with our Edinburgh Napier students.

Careers Mini Fairs
We run a number of Careers Mini Fairs throughout September – March which are visited by students from our three campuses. Please see our Careers Mini Fair section to find out more about our mini fairs, dates and booking information (including discounts).

Employer Workshops
Running an Employer Workshop for students can be a great way of raising awareness of your organisation on campus. Our students are always keen to hear about employers' tips and practical advice on making job applications, interview techniques or attending assessment centres. Some employers also run business games or other work-based exercises to give students an insight into recruitment excercises or what a particular career would be like. Please see our Employer Workshop section if you are interested in offering a skills workshop.

Recruiting Graduates
There are several ways to promote your graduate vacancies to our final year students. To find out more, please see our Advertising Vacancies section.

Employer Mentoring Programme
Edinburgh Napier’s Employer Mentoring Programme aims to bridge the gap in employability outcomes for students from non-traditional backgrounds. Research shows that students from non-traditional backgrounds are sometimes disadvantaged when they enter the employment market, despite having a good degree. To find out more, please see our Employer Mentoring section.

Employer presentations
We encourage employers to undertake presentations to raise their profile and highlight the opportunities available within their organisation to our students. We facilitate all organisational arrangements including room bookings, AV requirements and publicity of employer presentations to students. These presentations can be targeted to attract students in relevant academic disciplines. We will help you to find the right campus, date and time for your presentation. To find out more, please see our Employer Presentations section.

Student Projects
Our final year undergraduates and taught postgraduate students welcome the opportunity to complete a relevant project of work with an employer, which is then assessed by the University and contributes to their final degree award.  Projects are arranged on an individual basis. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this further with you and to put you in touch with the relevant School. To find out more, please contact our Careers Liaison Officer.

Work Placements
We can put you in touch with one of our Work Placement Coordinators who can work with you to develop your work placement opportunities. To find out more, please contact our Careers Liaison Officer. If you want to advertise a placement, please see our Advertising Vacancies section.
