Napier Students' Association

Edinburgh Napier Students' Association has a range of service it provides for students. For freshers, it puts on freshers´ events, such as the fayre and a week-long fresher´ entertainments programme in partnership with local nightclubs. NSA produces publications like the Survival Guide and the Freshers´ Handbook to provide good basic information about student life and the issues you may face. 

ROARS not Whispers 

Roars not Whispers is an exciting and inspiring project which is open to any young person in Scotland. It is a fantastic opportunity for any 16-25 year old to create changes in their community. Participants in the project will develop the knowledge and the confidence to become active citizens and seek to represent their communities at local, national and international levels. The team behind Roars not Whispers will support you and provide you with the tools that will help you speak up and make your voice heard.

Frontrunner Programme

The Frontrunner Programme  is an opportunity for young people to apply to attend a free leadership development programme to build skills and confidence and to make new networks in order to become active citizens and better leaders in society.

Centre for Confidence and Well-being

The Centre for Confidence and Well-being aims to support individual, organisational and cultural change. They aim to do this mainly through the dissemination of learning from the growing discipline of Positive Psychology. They organise conferences, workshops and networking events and act as consultants to interested organisations.

Authentic Happiness

Dr. Seligman's main mission at Authentic Happiness has been the promotion of the field of Positive Psychology. This discipline includes the study of positive emotion, positive character traits, and positive institutions. His website provides extensive information on this subject.

Businessballs

Businessballs is a free ethical learning and development resource for people and organizations, run by Alan Chapman, in Leicester, England. The Businessballs concept began as an experimental online collection of learning and development ideas.

Edinburgh Napier University Careers Centre

The Careers Information and Advice Centre is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students; to past students of Edinburgh's Napier University, no matter when they graduated; and to researchers and academic staff who wish to make use of our facilities. The service is open throughout the year, including during the summer and easter vacations.

Association of Graduate Careers Advisory ServicesAGCAS -

AGCAS has established an enviable position within the UK and beyond as a strong, collaborative body for HE careers professionals. Their primary aim is to help our members improve the accessibility and quality of careers information, advice and guidance. They work in partnership with organisations not only across the UK and Ireland, but with careers practitioners throughout the world.

Graduates for Growth

GfG Graduates for Growth aims to tackle graduate under-employment by proactively matching graduates with appropriate vacancies in the Scottish small to medium sized business sector. GfG believes that graduates represent commitment, creativity, enthusiasm and flexibility, and can contribute significantly to business growth. 

Careers Scotland

Careers Scotland works together with other local organisations to link lifetime guidance to lifelong learning. The activities include provision of information, advice and guidance for learning, work, volunteering and personal development.
