Purpose of this workshop
To develop attitudes and skills that support you in getting to the bottom of things and deciding which solution will provide the best outcome.
Problem-solving is a key skill in life and in work. This workshop has been designed to help you become someone who deals with problems effectively. It supports you to take a proactive and creative approach to problem solving and gives you some simple tools to use whether you are working individually or in a team.
Content of this workshop
The workshop will help you to think slightly differently about how you arrive at solutions to problems and there are opportunities to experiment with and practise new ideas and learn from your colleagues.
By the end of this workshop you will have:
- identified how to define and analyse problems in a way that supports generation of creative solutions
- explored different tools to help you ‘problem solve’ – individually and when working in a team
- learned techniques to stimulate creativity in group and individual work
