Purpose of this workshop
To build confidence and self motivation when faced with challenging situations.
Do you sometimes feel that your fear limits the choices you make? Are you worried that you are not making the most of your potential? This workshop will provide you with techniques to increase your confidence in facing challenges – whether they are ones you must face in your life or ones you would like to take on. The workshop will help you reduce your anxieties and become aware of the untapped personal resources you have available.
Content of this workshop
In this workshop you will complete a risk-taking profile, which will provide you with insight about your ‘comfort zones’. You will use a series of reflective activities to identify the psychological and practical obstacles which limit you in the face of challenges. You will then use a range of personal planning methods to put resources in place to overcome these obstacles.
By the end of this workshop you will have:

identified your personal ‘risk-taking’ profile and reflected upon what that means for you

learned useful tools for reducing your anxieties about taking on challenges

created a personal action plan to help you take on an important challenge
