Description
A practical and effective course to support improvement activities in all types of organisations, especially manufacturing.
The course takes delegates systematically through the well-established DMAIC system (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control). Delegates be trained in the tools and uses of the techniques used in problem solving and how to establish a system for to eliminate recurring problems.
Some familiarity with knowledge of graphs and statistical processes would be useful for this course.

Outcomes
- Be able to describe and use the problem solving tools to establish reasons for variation/failure and pinpoint corrective actions.
- Use root cause analysis techniques correctly to fix problems on a right first time basis.
- Use SPC charting techniques to measure process variations utilising appropriate sample populations and interpreting SPC charts.
