The administrative centre for research degree programmes at Napier University is the Research Degrees Team.

You may view your own record, and supervisors may access their students’ records in the Research Student Management System. To access for the first time, enter your napier email address as the username and click to say you forgot your password. A password will be emailed to you.

Postgraduate Development Record

From October 2007 we have introduced a study framework called the Postgraduate Development Record (PDR). All full-time research students who commenced after 1st January 2006, and part-timers who commenced after 1st October 2004 are required to document their personal development using the PDR. Other students may adopt it if they wish.
