MSc Advanced Practice
This programme has been develop to enable practitioners working in the public, health and social care services to positively contribute to their profession by becoming autonomous, innovative and effective practitioners. The programme has been designed to build upon individuals existing knowledge and skills. Each module will enable them to critically appraise policy and practice in the context of the module content being studied and their own practice. By participating in this programme individuals will be able to apply new knowledge and skills to achieve advanced levels of practice and influence decision making at both local and strategic levels.
The modules included within the MSc Advanced Practice have been aligned with Government and International policies and drivers that emphasise the skills and knowledge that individuals need to work effectively and lead the rapidly evolving world of healthcare.
Through the flexibly managed programme individuals can focus on their area of speciality and be supported by academic staff with knowledge and expertise in that field. All students have the option to study to Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and Masters level.
The Masters programme can be taken on a part time and full time basis and is delivered flexibly. Students can choose to study on line and/or receive face to face sessions.
