A wide range of subjects are available for study including sport and exercise science, psychology toxicology, biomedical science, animal biology, and environmental science. And not only are we the largest provider of nursing and midwifery professionals in Scotland, we also offer a veterinary nursing training facility. Many unique programmes such as ecotourism and forensic biology reflect our commitment to providing innovative education opportunities relevant to the changing needs of our society.
We have over 4,000 students, more than 300 staff, and provide world-class teaching and research facilities at the newly-redeveloped Sighthill Campus. The landmark campus provides a modern purpose-built sustainable building with premier teaching and learning facilities. These include a five-storey library, a state-of-the-art sports facility and 25 specialised teaching rooms - including clinical skills laboratories - six project rooms and five research rooms.
