Overview

As well as being involved in all aspects of academic development, Morag is particularly interested in developing and delivering flexible, online and blended learning materials. Her research interests lie in the use of portfolios to enhance learning and competency, mentorship, preceptorship, clinical supervision, reflection and critical thinking as well as in educational evaluation generally.

Teaching Interests
Morag teaches on a number of postgraduate modules: Practising within a Consultancy Role; Inter-professional Learning & Mentoring; Work-based Learning and Working with Change. 
Research Interests

Morag’s current research activity is as Principal Investigator for the NHS Education for Scotland funded research project Evaluation of the Physician Assistant (Anaesthesia) Programme. Morag is also involved in supervising a number of PhD students.

Morag and Jayne Donaldson have recently been commissioned by NHS Education for Scotland to undertake a systematic literature review on the grading of practice assessments.
