We teach the diverse professional skills required in engineering and construction.

Close links with leading organisations and employers keep our degrees relevant to sector needs, and all programmes have a high proportion of transferable skills inbuilt.

We are widely recognised for expertise and excellence in sustainable construction and transport, and we are home to the Institute for Sustainable Construction and the Transport Research Institute

The aim of SEBE is to produce graduates useful in the world of work from their first day of employment whatever their programme of study.

Royal recognition for timber research

Edinburgh Napier University has been awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for its internationally acclaimed work in timber engineering, sustainable construction and wood science. This is the second time we've picked up this prestigious award.
