Biography

Dr Andrew MacIver is a Senior Lecturer in Transportation Engineering and the Subject Group Leader for Civil & Transportation Engineering.  He is also a visiting lecturer at Shanghai Normal University.  Before re-joining Napier in 2008 he was a consultant with SIAS Transport Planners in Edinburgh.  From 1998-2004 he was a professor at the University of Calgary in Canada and from 1990-1997 a lecturer at Napier University. He is a former director of ITS Canada and currently serves on the Edinburgh Urban Design Panel and on the Institution of Civil Engineers Municipal Group (Scotland) committee.
