Biography

Wing Commander Bob Wright retired from the Royal Air Force in 2009, having initially served as a navigator on the Vulcan and Tornado GR1 aircraft and then having a succession of operational, command, teaching and staff appointments in Germany, England, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Kuwait, the Netherlands and the USA. During the Falklands War, he was Mentioned in Despatches for his contribution to the bombing raid codenamed ‘Black Buck 1’. Bob has held several support posts within Edinburgh Napier University and is now the School Academic Lead for Enterprise and Innovation in the School of Health & Social Care..
