Biography

Francesca joined ENU as a Business Development Executive remotely located in England. Her role is to increase the University’s engagement and links with the Ministry of Defence. Prior to joining the University in Jan 2016, Francesca was a Civil Servant with the Ministry of Defence for 14 years, working primarily with the RAF. Whilst working in the RAF’s 22 Training Group HQ as a Staff Officer, she was instrumental in the development of an innovative accreditation programme for RAF personnel with civilian awarding bodies designed to showcase military experiences, rank, and skills which are transferable to the civilian workplace. In addition Francesca was responsible for the management of the RAF’s Enhanced Learning Credits policy and management as well as the management of the tri-Service University Short Course Programme, successfully increasing the number of courses and participating Universities (including ENU) as well as its popularity across Armed Forces personnel. Francesca left this role on promotion and joined the Ministry of Defence’s Training, Education, Skills, Recruitment and Training department in Whitehall. In 2015 Francesca graduated from ENU’s Business School with a BA in Business and Enterprise; she has been a member of ILM since 2009.
