Biography

I am a research active academic, currently a Lecturer in Tourism Management at Edinburgh Napier University. I have knowledge and experience in research as well as in developing, delivering and teaching a wide range of modules on both undergraduate and postgraduate level. I have also experience in supervising postgraduate and undergraduate dissertations. My recent undergraduate and postgraduate teaching delivery has been also in Switzerland. My research, teaching and supervision on undergraduate and postgraduate levels have been related to the fields of events, tourism and heritage tourism management. At the moment, I am working on two collaborative publications (one focusing on place meanings and the other, on visitor taxonomy at heritage visitor attractions involved in film-induced tourism phenomenon). I have given conference presentations in the field of heritage tourism management in both the UK and international contexts.
