Biography
Steven, a lecturer and overseas programme leader for Sport and Exercise Sciences, started his career in the British Army, firstly in the Scots Guards and latterly in the Royal Army Physical Training Corps (RAPTC). During his time in the RAPTC, he taught and developed training and rehabilitation programmes for military personnel on operational activities. He also provided sport science support and consultancy for those representing the armed forces and UK in several sporting disciplines. He is an active researcher who continues to develop and teach theory and practical courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
