Clearing
Limited places available
This year we have seen a steep rise in applications to Edinburgh Napier, with applications rising by 28% compared with last year.
As a consequence, we have had many more students applying for the same number of places as in previous years, which has led to increased competition for places. In light of this, a number of our courses closed following the 15 January UCAS deadline and we have a limited number of places in Clearing this year.

This list is subject to change and limited places on other courses may become available as results are processed. All availability will be updated here immediately therefore please check this page for any updates.
We continue to accept application for September and January start for part-time undergraduate and postgraduate study. We would encourage all overseas applicants to contact pgadmissions@napier.ac.uk to ensure you have enough time to arrange a Visa for studying at Edinburgh Napier from September 2011.

Have I got a place?
If you have already applied for a course at Edinburgh Napier during the standard UCAS cycle and are looking to find out whether or not you have secured your place, please check your status on UCAS Track.
Need additional advice?
If you would like some further advice you can contact the Exams Results Helpline on 0808 100 8000. This is a free, independent advice helpline (run in association with Department for Education, UCAS and Skills Development Scotland), aimed at giving advice to applicants who may have achieved higher or lower examination results than expected and would like to discuss the options available to them.
What next?
Over the last three years the number of courses we have in Clearing has reduced significantly, with many of our courses reaching target prior to Clearing. This is a reflection on more students choosing Edinburgh Napier as their first choice university which reduces the number of Clearing places available. We expect this trend to continue and would encourage all potential applicants for 2012 to make Edinburgh Napier your top choice and submit your application by 15 January 2012 to ensure you are considered for a place for September 2012.
UCAS are already accepting applications to start studying in September 2012. For more information on this process, please visit the UCAS website or watch the guide on UCAS TV.
