The International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) is a 50-year old organization which is currently composed of 50 national societies. It publishes a quarterly newsletter in which it highlights news stories from the field of OR and a regular tutorial which introduces a new technique to the community.
Prof. Hart's work on Lifelong Learning is covered in the tutorial. She was invited to contribute to the newsletter following a keynote talk the European OR conference in Poznan, 2016.
