Iris Buunk awarded John Campbell Trust bursary
Centre for Social Informatics PhD student Iris Buunk has been awarded a John Campbell Trust bursary to support participation at the 18th European Conference on Knowledge Management (ECKM).

Centre for Social Informatics PhD student Iris Buunk has been awarded a John Campbell Trust travel bursary.

Iris will use the bursary to support participation at the 18th European Conference on Knowledge Management (ECKM). This conference takes place at Universitat, Internacional de Catalunya (UIC), in Barcelona, Spain from 7th to 8th September 2017.

While she is in Spain Iris also plans to attend the ECKM pre-conference workshop. In addition she will arrange to meet other researchers who share her interests in Knowledge Management at the Institute for Innovation and Knowledge Management (ESADE), and in Library and Information Science at the Faculty of Library and Information Science at the Univesitat de Barcelona.

The John Campbell Trust was established as an independent charitable trust through the bequest of the late Dr John Campbell. Campbell was an early member of the Institute of Information Scientists. The trust is administered by a body of Trustees under the chairmanship of Professor Adrienne Muir (Robert Gordon University). The purpose of the Trust is to further the education and development of information professionals through grants, scholarships, research or travel awards, to enhance the knowledge and experience of the information community as a whole.
