Hail, gladdening light: Anthems from St Giles'.
This disc, recorded by St Giles’ Cathedral Choir directed by Michael Harris, features a recording of God of the Moon by Sally Beamish, commissioned by me in 2009 with funds from the Friends of the Music of St Giles’ Cathedral. I was responsible for all discussions with the composer and publisher. The recording was subsequently broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on 2 March 2012 as final work in Composer of the Week, featuring Sally Beamish. The work is published by Norsk Musikforlag.
