Factors Affecting Ungulate Physiology
Evaluate factors that affect South African ungulate physiology via analysis of blood chemisty and salivary cortisol. This will enable evaluation of differences between species, and habitats, and (via comparison with reference samples) the effect of capture for wildlife translocation. Data collection for this project will be from dead animals (killed for other purpose).
