Life after stroke - nurse research priorities
The identification of the 226 unique unanswered research questions, which was done using a rigorous process with equal participation from stroke survivors and health professionals (Pollock et al, 2014), provides a unique opportunity for nurses to now determine which of these are of greatest priority to stroke nursing. This will ensure true stroke research undertaken by nurses will focus on well-defined objectives that are relevant to stroke survivors, carers and health professionals and have agreed to be of greatest priority to stroke nursing.
