A joint initiative to support exceptional students from India in furthering their education in the UK.
Education is GREAT India Scholarships are a joint initiative between the British Council and UK Universities to support exceptional students from India in furthering their education in the UK and become brand ambassadors for UK Higher Education in India.
Edinburgh Napier University will grant four awards in 2017/8 each to the value of £7,000. Successful candidates will receive the award as a reduction in their overall tuition fee and will therefore not be eligible for any other University scholarship such as the South Asia Scholarships.
To be considered, applicants must:
- be permanently resident in India
- be available to start academic studies in the UK by the start of the Edinburgh Napier University academic year on 2nd September 2017 on one of the following Masters programmes (click on the links below for more information on each course):
- display the relevant academic and English language criteria of their chosen course by having a conditional or unconditional offer of study to Edinburgh Napier University in place by the 28th March 2017 deadline
How to apply
Applicants who meet all the eligibility criteria above by 28th March 2017 will be assessed by a university panel and shortlisted based on their overall academic profile, including supporting documentation such as references and personal statements.
Candidates will be emailed with notification they have been shortlisted by 28th April 2017 with further information.
There is no requirement to contact the University to ask to be put forward for nomination.
The successful candidate will be notified before 30th June 2017.
