If you’re thinking of studying at Edinburgh Napier, you have the option of attending pre-sessional English courses that will not only strengthen your English significantly, but will also equip you with useful academic skills to ensure success on your degree course.
Why study a pre-sessional English course?
Our pre-sessional courses are designed for students joining undergraduate or postgraduate courses at Edinburgh Napier University. Whether you need to increase your English language scores for entry or you have reached the required English level but would like to learn more about studying in a UK university before starting your degree, we have a course suitable for you.
Courses include 20 hours of classes per week covering:
- academic writing, reading, listening and speaking skills
- research and presentation skills
- UK academic culture
- Scottish and UK culture

- Edinburgh Napier University Language Test preparation
- 20 hours of class per week
