Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Students would generally be required to complete an international pathway programme to be considered for entry to year one of our bachelor courses.

Postgraduate

Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained one of the following qualifications:

  • Master’s degree 
  • Postgraduate Diploma with two years relevant work experience 
  • A five to six year Bachelor degree (from the University of Botswana) with two years relevant work experience
  • A four to five year Bachelor degree (from the University of Botswana) with 5 years relevant work experiences

English language

Students who are applying to an undergraduate programme are required to have completed the Botswana Cambridge Overseas School Certificate English Credit (3-6) or Botswana GCSE (BGCSE) English Grade C.

Students applying to a postgraduate programme are not required to take an English language test like IELTS, as long as the bachelor degree was taught and examined in English.

Pathway programmes

Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.

Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.
