Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Students you would generally be required to complete an international pathway programme to be considered for entry to one of our bachelor courses.
Postgraduate
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Licenciado / Título de [subject area] with 70% or above.
English language
Students from the Dominican Republic are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.

We also offer various pre-sessional
English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.
Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please
search for the course you're interested in to find out more.
Pathway programmes
Edinburgh Napier University International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Edinburgh Napier University. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.
Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.

Scholarships
There are a number of different scholarships available to help reduce the cost of studying at Edinburgh Napier University.
MESCyT Scholarship Programme
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) signed an agreement with Edinburgh Napier University to provide scholarships to students from the Dominican Republic at Masters level. Under this agreement, a number of sponsored students will be eligible to enter Masters courses at the University from our extensive range of programmes.
